How Odyssey Shuttles collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

Effective Date: 1 October 2026

Odyssey Shuttles is committed to safeguarding visitor and customer privacy and to securing personal information appropriately. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for individuals in Quebec, Quebec's private sector privacy law (Law 25).

1. Information We Collect

The following types of information may be collected:

  • Contact and Booking Information: Name, email address, phone number, postal code, and service date provided when requesting a quote or contacting Odyssey Shuttles directly.
  • Payment Information: Odyssey Shuttles does not collect credit card or payment details through the website. Payment is arranged directly with Odyssey Shuttles once a quote is confirmed.
  • Usage Data: Information collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools, including IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. See "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" below.

2. How We Use Your Information

Personal information is used for the following purposes:

  • Booking and Service Fulfillment: To process and manage bookings and deliver the requested transportation services.
  • Communication: To send booking updates, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support.
  • Marketing: To send promotional offers and service updates, with consent that can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve the website and services.

3. Legal Basis for Collection

Personal information is collected and used under the consent framework set out in PIPEDA. For information needed to respond to a quote request or deliver a booked service, consent is implied by submitting the form. For optional uses, such as marketing emails or analytics cookies, consent is express and can be given or withdrawn through the cookie banner or by contacting Odyssey Shuttles directly.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Personal information is not sold or rented to third parties. Information may be shared with:

  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party providers that support the website and business, including Webflow (website hosting and form processing) and Google (Analytics and Tag Manager, only after cookie consent is granted). These providers are contractually bound to protect personal information and use it only for the purposes it was disclosed for.
  • Legal Requirements: Disclosure may occur to comply with legal obligations, enforce applicable policies, or protect the rights, safety, or property of Odyssey Shuttles or others.

5. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Some service providers used by Odyssey Shuttles, including Webflow and Google, may store or process personal information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. Personal information transferred this way remains subject to contractual and technical safeguards, but may also be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.

6. Data Retention

Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, respond to inquiries, meet accounting or legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Information no longer needed for these purposes is securely deleted or de-identified.

7. Data Security

Industry-standard security measures are used to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Odyssey Shuttles uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it over time. A cookie consent banner appears on first visit, offering the choice to accept or decline analytics cookies. That choice is saved in the browser and can be changed anytime using the "Cookie Settings" link in the bottom corner of the site. Declining means analytics cookies are not set.

  • Access and Correction: Personal information can be accessed and corrected by contacting Odyssey Shuttles directly.
  • Opt-Out: Marketing communications can be opted out of at any time using the unsubscribe instructions included in each email.

  • Right to File a Complaint: Concerns about how personal information is handled can be raised directly with Odyssey Shuttles, or with the applicable privacy regulator, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) under PIPEDA, or Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (cai.gouv.qc.ca) for Quebec residents.

10. Children's Privacy

Services offered by Odyssey Shuttles are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. Personal information is not knowingly collected from children under 16. Any such information identified will be deleted.
